Cookie policy
Futsify sets only the cookies it needs to work. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking across other sites.
Version 2026-11-02
Why there is no consent banner asking you to choose
Under the ePrivacy rules and article 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for. Every cookie Futsify sets is strictly necessary, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to refuse.
You are still told what is set, which is what the notice on your first visit does. If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, it will be off until you turn it on.
What is actually stored
A session cookie set by Clerk, our authentication provider, which keeps you signed in. It is removed when you sign out.
A theme preference and a language preference, so the site opens the way you left it.
One entry in your browser's local storage recording that you have seen the cookie notice, so it is not shown on every visit.
That is the complete list. No cookie is used to profile you or to follow you to another site.
Controlling them
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session cookie signs you out; the site keeps working.
Blocking cookies entirely will prevent you from signing in, because there is no other way to keep a session.
